Hildenbrand Wine & Olive Estate
Eighteen hectares of vineyards are cultivated on the foothills of the Hawequa Mountain in fertile granite soils.
Semillon, Chardonnay and mature Chenin Blanc vines (25 yrs) are cultivated on west and southeast-facing slopes, with less sun hours moderating the summer heat. Red varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Malbec - comprising of trellised, bush and experimental vines - are planted on lean soils to reduce growth vigour and increase fruit concentration.
All Hildenbrand Estate's range of wines are vegan friendly, no fining agents like gelatine, and egg whites etc. are used in the wine making process.
Wine and Olive Oil tasting daily between 10:00 - 16:00. Closed Easter, December the 24th, 25th, 31st and January the 1st.
